The U-turn removal anchor method is the world's first load-distributing removal anchor developed for pulling out PC steel strands after the installed rock anchors have been used. By adjusting the load-bearing bodies according to the designed anchor force, the PC steel strands are turned back at the tips of each load-bearing body, allowing for uniform tension and fixation across each load-bearing body.
